Join the DEI Team in the Parlor at 10:30 am, as we work together to remind our lawmakers that the treatment of the immigrant is a direct reflection of our nation’s moral health. Use the “power of the pen” to urge Congress to correct what has gone wrong with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Grounding our postcards and letters in the biblical mandate to care for the stranger turns our personal faith into a political force. Help protect the vulnerable and demand our congress to choose compassion and justice over increased detention. Leviticus 19:34: The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself.
