New Here?
Are you just visiting or new to Zwingli? This is a great place to begin the journey. We are a congregation that believes in living out God’s extravagant welcome in all we do. Read on for more information.
Service Times
Worship happens Sunday mornings at 9 AM in person. Worship is also live-streamed on our Facebook page, which can be located here. The best part is, you don’t need a facebook account to view our live stream. Our live stream is also accessible from our website on the front page.
Directions & Parking
Zwingli United Church of Christ is located at 350 Wile Ave, Souderton, PA 18964. We are at the top of Zwingli Hill close to the Souderton Community Park and pool. You’ll notice our building with the tall steeple and cross. Plenty of off-street parking can be located by driving around the main driveway to our main entrance, which is on the back side of our building.
What to Expect
Dress Code / Children in Worship
Zwingli United Church of Christ’s dress code is casual. Come as you are your most comfortable self. Our clergy dress in robes, and people dress in a range from very casual styles to their Sunday best. You will be welcomed no matter how you dress. Children and Youth are encouraged to join us in worship, and nursery care for infants is available, but your littlest ones are welcome in worship too.
Education Opportunities
We offer a variety of learning and fellowship opportunities. After worship at 10:15 we have Adult Electives classes, as well as Bible study. Children’s Sunday School and Youth Group also happen during this same time period.
We also offer small group opportunities. If you are interested in joining a small group and getting connected, please fill out the form below.
Will I really be welcomed here?
We are an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ. That’s a fancy way of saying that you are welcome here no matter your sexual orientation or gender identity, race or ethnic background, social status, soul injury, religious beliefs, age, and physical, mental, or addiction challenges.
We aspire to be a counterweight to exclusion and discrimination. We choose to purposefully welcome and include all people in every aspect of our church family including worship, fellowship, and leadership, lay and ordained, and will meet you where you are on life’s journey to share God’s love with you. It is our commitment that all members should feel and be safe, as we express God’s universal and unconditional love in our church, community and daily lives.
If this all sounds good to you, and you’d like more information, please contact us and let us know.
