Adult Electives – Seed to Supper Program led by Keystone Opportunity Center

March 29 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Are you wondering why there is a pile of wood chips in Zwingli’s front yard?  Join us during adult electives on March 29th to learn about Penn State Extension’s Seeds to Supper Program, how it serves those in need within our community and how Zwingli is partnering with Keystone Opportunity Center and the Extension’s Master Gardener Program to serve our community.  The Seeds to Supper Program is an in-depth, beginning gardening program that provides novice and more experienced gardeners the tools they need to learn how to successfully grow a portion of their own food on a limited budget.  Keystone Opportunity Center sought to implement this program in Souderton to help those in our community who suffer from food insecurity to grow their own fresh vegetables to supplement their family’s nutrition.  Please join Master Gardener (and Zwingli neighbor) Stephanie Cross and Keystone Opportunity Center’s Director of Development, Kristine Evina, as they outline the operations and goals of the program and how Zwingli’s partnership is vital to its success.
