PFLAG stands for Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbiansand Gays

What  does PFLAG do?

PFLAG supports LGBTQ people, their families and friendslocally and nationally by providing PFLAG chapter helplines, support groupmeetings and resources.  PFLAG also educates families and communities onsexual orientation, gender identity and LGBTQ issues.  Local PFLAGchapters educate their communities through a variety of projects while PFLAGNational continues to provide fair and accurate information about LGBTQ people,their loved ones, and the unique challenges they face.  PFLAG also advocatesfor equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people on local,state, and national levels.
